Updated Visa Fees as from 6th July 2009
As from the 6th of July 2009, there will be an increase on the visa fees and on the consular fees . The major changes are:
- The introduction of Tier 4 (students) of the Point Based System
- Different fees for long term validity visas. There are now seperate fees for 2 year, 5 year and 10 year visas.
- A new fee to transfer a valid visa from on passport to another.
- Increase in fees for all categories.
Updates will be done regularly on the changes required on the Visa fee chart.

From 31 March 2009, students from Cameroon, Gabon, Central Africa Republic and Chad looking to study in the UK will be able to apply for their visa through Tier 4 of the new streamlined Point Based System aimed at simplifying the application precess following this press release
